Carl JosephThis is my own little sandbox where I can happily stand up on my high horse and preach to the 3 people who bother listening. I may not contribute much uniqueness to the world but I am adept at regurgitating other people’s points of view.

So, about me … I manage a software development team for a business school in Melbourne, Australia. I also have a very wide variety of interests from music (everything from The Smiths, Radiohead, Rufus Wainright to Ravel, Stravinsky and Mozart), swing dancing (lindy hop), woodworking, leadership, education theory and cognitive psychology.

On this site I explore these interests in a somewhat random manner. I write about whatever takes my fancy at the time. It’s a bit eclectic and may not interest everyone so I apologise if it has induced boredom. If you do find something interesting then I’m happy for you but please leave a comment or I’ll be sad.

If you really, truly and honestly would like to know more about me (and I know you do), then try these places:

  • Facebook – For my actual friends (no more stalkers please!)
  • Twitter – My stream of consciousness
  • Flickr – My photographs (mainly woodworking and travel)
